Mission Statement

Lutheran Family Services, an extended arm of the Lutheran Congregations, exists to serve families and build communities by providing Christian based services to adults and children that enhance the quality of their lives.

 

 

Power Parenting Dream Team

Dr. Steven Grcevich, MD
Dr. Steve Grcevich currently serves as President and Founder of The Family Center by the Falls, a multidisciplinary behavioral health group practice based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, exclusively devoted to serving children and families. He also serves as President of Key Ministry Foundation, a newly-formed, non-profit organization charged with assisting churches in the provision of outreach and support services to families of children with hidden disabilities. He is a faculty member of the Department of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland.
Bob Schuppel, LPCC
Bob received his Bachelor of Science from Cleveland State University in education and his Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling, John Carroll University.   Bob’s professional experiences in working with children and adolescents have included his current position as Vice President and Clinical Director, Family Center by the Falls; Director of Residential Treatment, Bellefaire JCB; Therapist, Parmadale / Catholic Charities; Elementary Education Teacher, Urban Community School; Counselor and Consultant, Peace Corps, Western Samoa/Cook Islands in the South Pacific and as a Teacher Trainer, Peace Corps Volunteer, Belize.
Katie Wetherbee
As a former special education teacher, Katie Wetherbee has always enjoyed working with children who have special needs. However, it was her experience as the mother of a special needs child herself that made her passionate about supporting parents, too. Katie is co-owner of Hope Educational Consulting , a firm that provides guidance to parents of exceptional children. Katie completed her undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University, where she majored in Special Education and Human & Organizational Development. She holds a master's degree in education from Hood College, where she served on the adjunct faculty for the Reading Specialist program.
